Slowly weaning

The Doctor came by and looked at Benjamin. He was very happy with the numbers. Benjamin is still hooked up to the ventilator but it is for support right now. He has been breathing deep enough and slow enough all on his own most of the day today.

They weaned down the pressure from 14 to 12 (not sure what all that means). They plan to go to 10 tonight and 8 tomorrow morning. If he is stable at 8, the tube can come out. They think tomorrow or Wednesday they will be able to take out the tube as long as he responds well to the changes they will be making tonight and in the morning.

So so thankful for steps on the right direction. Our God is awesome!!

  2. This is GREAT news!!! Praise the Lord!!! Will continue praying for you all! (BTW, I had that mastitis thing with Garrison, too... awful stuff. Worse than labor IMO, at least after the epidural!! ;) Glad to hear that's going better for you, too!)

  3. Thank the Lord for a good report, we are believing there to be many more to follow . ) I am SO glad to hear that you and Emma are feeling better as well. I've experienced the plugged ducts and oh my, those are painful. I can't imagine with all of this compounded together...you truly are incredible Charity. Lord Bless you... We are still praying throughout the day...
